Hisko Hulsing
Hisko Hulsing (born 1971 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch animation director, painter, illustrator and composer. He studied painting and animation at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, graduating in 1995, and worked as an illustrator, comic artist and storyboard artist for advertising companies, broadcasters and newspapers while making the short films Seventeen and Junkyard, for which he also composed the orchestral scores. He directed the animated sequences of the documentary Cobain: Montage of Heck (2015), directed all episodes of the Amazon Prime series Undone (2019-2023) and directed The Sandman bonus episode A Dream of a Thousand Cats (2022) for Netflix. His paintings, storyboards and illustrations have been shown in exhibitions in Aberdeen, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and Groningen.
