Sara Koppel

Sara Koppel is a Danish animator, film director and installation artist whose work uses hand-drawn animation on paper. She entered the Danish animation industry in 1984 and worked on feature films, commercials and shorts with Jannik Hastrup and A. Film during the 1980s and 1990s. In 2002 she founded Naked Love Film & Koppel Animation in Copenhagen, where she makes independent animated shorts alongside animation for other filmmakers. Her artistic work explores environmental issues, gender and sexuality.
