Anne Breymann

Anne Breymann is an artist and visual storyteller working with sculpture, puppets, animation and staged photography. Her work draws on nature, folktales and mythology, using materials including clay, paper, textiles, wood and found objects. Alongside her independent practice, she creates puppets, illustrations and animation for film, television, museums, theatre and record covers, and teaches puppet-making workshops. She works between Berlin and a North Sea island.
