Gints Zilbalodis

Gints Zilbalodis is a Latvian filmmaker and animator whose early short films combine hand-drawn animation, 3D animation and live action. He made his debut feature, Away (2019), entirely on his own; it won the Contrechamp Award at Annecy. He founded Dream Well Studio in Riga in 2019. His second feature, Flow (2024), premiered in the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes and marked his transition to working with a production team.
