Oerd Van Cuijlenborg

Oerd van Cuijlenborg is a Dutch animation artist who has lived and worked in Paris since 2006. He graduated in painting from the HKU University of the Arts Utrecht in 1997, then studied at the Netherlands Institute for Animation Film from 1998 to 2000 before joining the artist residency programme at Folimage. His work combines independent abstract short films with commissioned animation. He designed and directed around 40 minutes of animation for the documentary The State Against Mandela and the Others (2018).
