Monica Manganelli

Monica Manganelli is an Italian film and stage director, writer, scenographer and digital visual artist. She studied cultural heritage at the University of Parma and trained in theatre set design and computer graphics. Her work spans opera, animation, visual effects and immersive installations, including visual-effects art direction for Cloud Atlas and the animated drama Butterflies in Berlin. She also teaches digital video and production techniques for video theatre at fine arts academies.
