Jinghui Gao

Jinghui Gao is an animator from Beijing, China, working in experimental, frame-by-frame animation. Gao studied Media Art at Bauhaus University Weimar, where an animation class led to a change of direction, and earned an MFA in Experimental Animation from CalArts (California Institute of the Arts) in 2022. Gao's work aims to convey a child's sense of wonder, imagination and simple happiness.
