Eduard Belyaev is a Russian animation director, production designer and animator. He graduated from the A. P. Bogolyubov Saratov Art School in 1986, training in sculpture and art teaching. He worked as a designer and prop maker at Saratov’s academic drama theatre and, from 1990, as a production designer and animator at Saratovtelefilm. His directing work includes The Life of a Grey Bear and Soldier and Death.
