Adriaan Lokman

Adriaan Lokman is a Dutch filmmaker and artist working across animation, installations, performances and virtual reality. He graduated in illustration and audiovisual design from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam in 1986, then worked as a producer, director, designer and animator through his studio Lokman Produkties. Based in France since 2005, he focuses on independent films and art projects that explore the boundary between abstraction and reality. His work includes Barcode (2001), which won the Grand Prix at Annecy in 2002, and Flow (2019).
