Kelly Yu is a Swedish-born, New Orleans-raised writer and director based in Los Angeles whose genre-blending work explores the human condition through a darkly comedic, absurd and off-kilter lens. Her short Endling premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival and qualified for the 97th Academy Awards, and she made her episodic directing debut on season 8 of Showtime/Paramount's The Chi. She is a 2025–26 Steve Jobs Archive Fellow, an alumna of the Indeed Rising Voices Fellowship and the Disney Television Directing Program, and holds a BFA from the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
