Suki
Suki (born 1977) is a French director and graphic artist who began self-producing short films in the late 1990s, combining cinema with his taste for drawing. He created the comic web series "Les Enquêtes de Dick Spader", selected at Annecy and Ottawa, and the animated thriller "Reflections" (2006), and in 2006 co-founded the studio Papy3D, which produced his short "N'Djekoh" (Annecy 2013). In 2016 he left Papy3D and co-founded the production company Utopi with Stéphane Debureau and Jean-Philippe Gréau, where he directs and produces animated shorts such as "The Eel, the Weasel and the Vulture" and "A Grain of Sand in the Universe", winner of the Valois René Laloux for best animated short at the Angoulême Francophone Film Festival. In 2024 he directed "Réfugié", his first film combining live action with 3D animation, and illustrated Stéphane Debureau's collection of tales "Contes de la Source".
