Connecting films to audiences

We are a non-profit startup working to create the most comprehensive database of independent films and film festivals, connecting filmmakers with fans and industry leaders. Think IMDb, but exclusively for festival films - with a "Where to Watch" link if the film is already out, and a "Get Notified" button if the film is not yet available for streaming.

Filmmaker, unlock your film's full potential!

During festival screenings, films experience their peak public interest — a time when audience engagement and excitement are at their highest.

Yet, this significant opportunity for attention often remains unexplored, as films typically make their online debut long after their festival appearances.

It’s not just about lost views; it’s about missing out on building a lasting relationship with your audience, the support and engagement that could fuel your next projects.

Vurchel ensures your audience's interest is retained. We alert your fans when the film is ready to stream, maintaining momentum from festivals for wider reach and engagement. With Vurchel, your film's buzz isn't just preserved — it's amplified.

Cyprien Nozières

Cyprien Nozières is a French filmmaker and animator whose short films combine live-action footage, often shot on walks in nature, with animation, sound experiments and music. In his own words, his films investigate different aspects of nature, from its inaccessible truths to its friction with humanity. In 2020 the experimental cinema label Re:Voir released a VOD collection of his work, The Milky Way (& other film works), including Voie Lactée, a series of ten surreal short films built around cheese, the mini-series Tout est Superlumineux, Axone, Tangerine and Gélatine.
