Russ Etheridge

Russ Etheridge is a UK-based freelance animator, director and designer whose main passion is 3D character animation; he also works as a 3D generalist and rigger, 2D character animator and motion graphics designer. He studied Digital Arts at the University of West London (BA, 2007) and Animation at the Royal College of Art (MA, 2009). Over more than 15 years in the motion industry he has been a Senior Creative at Animade, held senior motion design roles at MPC, The Mill and Nexus, and worked with studios including Moth, Strange Beast, The Line and Blinkink. His film The Lion received a Special Jury Award at Annecy in 2013, and his work for Sky Kids with Moth won a D&AD; Pencil in 2023.
