Founded in 2016 by filmmaker Stanley Ohikhuare and supported through his company Mighty Jot, the festival gives particular attention to emerging filmmakers while also presenting work by established directors. Its programme connects filmmaking with technology, creative collaboration and the cultural life of its host cities. The 2026 edition takes place in Worcester, United Kingdom, from 23–25 October 2026. Screenings span several city and campus venues, alongside industry sessions and the Hourglass Awards.
