It dates back to 2002, when it began as the children's cinema of the Duisburger Filmwoche, and it now runs under the city's adult education centre (VHS). The programme draws on European documentaries in German or with English subtitles, with no length limit, and every screening is followed by a moderated conversation with the filmmakers. Admission is free for schools and accredited guests. Two awards are given: the GROSSE KLAPPE, a prize of 5,000 euros for political children's and youth documentary, chosen by a youth jury of pupils from North Rhine-Westphalia, and the ECFA Documentary Award, chosen by a European Children's Film Association jury for films aimed at ages 6 to 12. The 25th edition takes place from 2 to 8 November 2026, with screenings at the filmforum on Dellplatz.",[21
"2018",true,[],[26
"more","",[30],14390,[30],[33
"obon-anna-bergmann","Obon","Akiko Takakura, one of the few people within 500 metres of ground zero to survive the…",15,"https://img.r.vurchel.com/films/_th600/obon-anna-bergmann-mufutifq.webp?v=3d5a51c6",[40,41],"Anna Samo","André Hörmann",[]]
