The Cinémathèque québécoise produces it and presented the first edition in 2002; Marco de Blois founded it. Since 2022 the competition is devoted to Canadian productions, alongside student and commissioned-film categories. The non-competitive Wide Angle section and the Best of Annecy programme add work from elsewhere, and the festival also runs a pitch contest for animated shorts and a Young Jury. The 24th edition, 11–16 May 2026, screens more than 140 films, 60 of them in the official competition, at the Cinémathèque québécoise.",[22
"2018",true,[],[27
"more",[30],14470,[30],[33
"raymonde-or-the-vertical-escape-sarah-van-den-boom","Raymonde or the Vertical Escape","Raymonde, a sixty-year-old owl-woman, lives alone on a remote farm, tending her kitchen…",17,"https://img.r.vurchel.com/films/_th600/raymonde-or-the-vertical-escape-sarah-van-den-boom-ovz004gy.webp?v=9ce6e226",[40],"Sarah Van den Boom",[]]
