Audiences walk between screens set among trees, on lawns and beside other features of each venue. The programme combines feature films, short films and animation with talks, workshops and camping. A different setting and theme shape each edition. The festival dates back to 2014 and is organised by Mori no Eigasai Project. The 2026 edition dates are 3–4 October, in Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture. Its main venue is Wanpaku Land and the surrounding Ikoi no Mori area, with additional activities in the city. Three forest screens and a city satellite venue connect the film programme with the surrounding town.",[23,26],{"year":24,"hasAwards":17,"hasSelection":25},"2023",true,{"year":27,"hasAwards":17,"hasSelection":25},"2016",[],[30],{"key":31,"title":32,"filmIds":33},"more","",[34],13648,[],[37],{"entryId":34,"urlTitle":38,"status":7,"title":39,"synopsis":40,"duration":41,"hasFullFilm":17,"hasTrailer":25,"image":42,"directors":43,"series":16},"mishimasaiko-aude-danset","Mishimasaiko","Mishima lives underground in the shadows with his worm companions.
