Corfu Animation Festival's approach to animation: school pupils in Corfu judge its Short Films for Children competition. The festival's international programme also encompasses independent shorts, student and graduation films, and animated features, alongside retrospectives, masterclasses and workshops. Its educational activities address children as well as adult audiences and animation professionals. The festival dates back to April 2011 and has ANIMATE CORFU, a nonprofit organization in Corfu, Greece, as its organizer. The last edition took place on 29 March–2 April 2017.
