The programme spans fiction, documentary, animation and experimental work, with separate strands for film history, unconventional cinema and young audiences. The festival dates back to 1993 and is organised by the Association of Slovak Film Clubs, with the Slovak Film Institute as its main co-organiser. Its main screenings take place in Bratislava, while selected films travel to other Slovak cinemas.
