Its Official section has three competitions: International Feature Films, International Short Films and Spanish Films. The Parallel section presents tributes, premieres, little-known films and work by new directors. L'Alternativa Hall offers free screenings, performances and debates in the hall of the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB). Alongside screenings, the festival offers seminars, masterclasses and creative workshops.
