The festival presents features, shorts, animation, documentaries and experimental work, with competitions for child filmmakers, young Bangladeshi filmmakers and international entries. A child jury evaluates films made by children, while workshops and discussions introduce young delegates to filmmaking. The festival dates back to 2008 and is organised by Children's Film Society Bangladesh, a youth-led organisation.
