The festival dates back to 1996 near Tarusa and has its home in Suzdal, Russia, since 2002. Master-Film and the Vladimir Region government organize the event. Screenings at the Suzdal Tourist Complex are complemented by an online platform, discussions, masterclasses, animation-project pitching and the Campus film-school programme. The Open Premiere initiative extends screenings and audience voting to venues beyond Suzdal. The 32nd edition is in Suzdal in March 2027, with the theme “We All Come from
