Its selection favours unusual storytelling, experimentation with the medium and eclectic subject matter, welcoming work made with everything from VHS and Super 8 to digital cameras. Animation, documentary, fiction and films made in Michigan share the programme with work from around the world. Filmmaker discussions and a private awards brunch and excursion complement the screenings. The festival dates back to 2017 and is directed by founder Jerry White Jr. The dates of its latest edition are 19–20 August 2022 at Ant Hall and Ghost Light.
