It started in Prague in 2016, founded by producer Krystof Safer and organised by his company Bull Film. The competition accepts fiction, documentary, animated and other vertical works of at least 60 seconds with no limit on production date, and its main prize is the Tall Idea award. Editions also feature the Pocket Conference, a programme of talks on smartphone and vertical filmmaking. The 2021 edition ran from 10 to 31 October 2021 and is the last Prague edition documented by the festival. Vertifilms later described itself as an international network of local editions run by partners: a Mexican edition took place in Tijuana in 2022, and a 2023 Mexican edition was announced.",[22
"2021",true,[],[27
"more",[30],11281,[30],[33
"inversion-the-sound-of-isolation-russian-federation-2020","Inversion (The Sound of Isolation)","Made during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown in a new apartment building where the neighbours…",4,"https://img.r.vurchel.com/films/_th600/inversion-the-sound-of-isolation-russian-federation-2020-ml2ua64o.webp?v=c21b803b",[40],"Kristina Petukhina",[]]
