Selected works receive new scores performed by musicians in the screening room, while other films retain their original sound. Its programmes include short fiction, non-fiction and animation, with screenings in Los Angeles and touring presentations in Chicago and Durham, North Carolina. The series dates back to 2019 and is organised by VASTLab, a non-profit creative collaborative based in Los Angeles that works across visual, audio, story and technology arts.
