Four nights of screenings share a woodland site with camping, while the daytime programme turns to music, performances, lectures, workshops and art installations. The festival’s history begins in 2013. Its international competitions distinguish established short-film makers from emerging animators, with separate recognition for experimental work, films for young audiences and music videos. A national competition focuses on Russian animation, and a separate children’s competition showcases films made by young authors. Volunteers help create and run this non-commercial festival. The 2026 open-air dates are 9–13 July near Rylyaki.",[22,25,27,29,31,33,35,37,39,41,43,45,47,49],{"year":23,"hasAwards":24,"hasSelection":24},"2026",true,{"year":26,"hasAwards":24,"hasSelection":24},"2025",{"year":28,"hasAwards":24,"hasSelection":24},"2024",{"year":30,"hasAwards":24,"hasSelection":24},"2023",{"year":32,"hasAwards":24,"hasSelection":24},"2022",{"year":34,"hasAwards":24,"hasSelection":24},"2021",{"year":36,"hasAwards":24,"hasSelection":24},"2020",{"year":38,"hasAwards":24,"hasSelection":24},"2019",{"year":40,"hasAwards":24,"hasSelection":24},"2018",{"year":42,"hasAwards":24,"hasSelection":24},"2017",{"year":44,"hasAwards":24,"hasSelection":24},"2016",{"year":46,"hasAwards":24,"hasSelection":24},"2015",{"year":48,"hasAwards":24,"hasSelection":24},"2014",{"year":50,"hasAwards":24,"hasSelection":24},"2013",[52],"Insomnia-2020 films were screened at Insomnia-2021 due to COVID-19.",[54,67,80,93,105],{"key":55,"title":56,"info":57,"person":16,"film":58},"131","The Grand Prix","",{"entryId":59,"urlTitle":60,"status":7,"title":61,"synopsis":62,"duration":63,"hasFullFilm":24,"hasTrailer":24,"image":64,"directors":65,"series":16},15843,"purpleboy-alexandre-siqueira","Purpleboy","Oscar is a child who sprouts in his parents garden.
