Four nights of screenings share a woodland site with camping, while the daytime programme turns to music, performances, lectures, workshops and art installations. The festival’s history begins in 2013. Its international competitions distinguish established short-film makers from emerging animators, with separate recognition for experimental work, films for young audiences and music videos. A national competition focuses on Russian animation, and a separate children’s competition showcases films made by young authors. Volunteers help create and run this non-commercial festival.
