Between festivals, the touring programme STIFF on the Road brings selected films to other cities, festivals and universities. The audience chooses one film for the audience award. For the 2026 edition, films must be produced after 1 January 2024.\nFilms must be in English or have embedded English subtitles; selected films also provide an English dialogue list (.srt).\nFilms are submitted only via FilmFreeway; screeners must be password protected and not publicly available online.\nThere is no limit on the number of films a filmmaker, producer or film school may submit.
