SENE is a very filmmaker-friendly festival with multiple parties and networking opportunities. All films, parties, brunches, events, panels and awards ceremonies are free to attending filmmakers and screenwriters. Film Selection: 98% of selected films come from official submissions. 25% of submitted films were selected for screening last year. Festival programmers (Phil Capobres & Don Farias) personally review every film submission. Last year 50 films received jury or audience awards. Film Scheduling: Screening times are scheduled with an emphasis on avoiding conflicting programs which means a stronger audience for your film. No more than 2 film programs are scheduled to screen at the same time. SENE accepts all film genres and categories and creates screenings to showcase them. Festival Benefits: Dedicated Q&A time for visiting filmmakers at their screening.
