Each award carries €1,500, subject to applicable tax deductions.","The published 2026 regulations accept short films from any country, in any genre or style, with a maximum running time of 30 minutes. International competition entries must be completed after 1 January 2024 and be suitable for the intended child audience. The competitive sections are Miñocas and Fanecas. There is no limit on the number of films submitted. Preview copies with dialogue outside Galician or Spanish require subtitles in either language, or English. Selected films without Galician or Spanish subtitles must supply a clean screening copy and a separate English dialogue list, preferably a timed SRT file. Competitive selections receive no screening fee.
