Framed Film Festival pairs children's cinema from around the world with practical activities at the Barbican in London. Its programme combines short and feature films, animation and live action, new releases and established favourites. Artist and filmmaker sessions introduce young audiences to the processes behind what they watch, with workshops covering character design, stop-motion animation and film sound effects.
The Barbican organizes the festival as part of its family film activity. The dates for the 2018 edition are 17–18 November 2018, with screenings and free creative activities at the Barbican Cinemas on Beech Street.
