All screened films, including amateur selections, compete for the audience award. Main awards carry endowments whose values depend on funding and partnerships. Juries may also give honorary Coup de cœur distinctions without endowments.","The 2027 regulations accept live-action and animated fiction suitable for a general audience. The main section accepts films up to 25 minutes excluding credits; amateur and workshop films may run up to 15 minutes and must not be professional, commercial or film-school productions. Non-French-language films require French subtitles, including the main-section screener. Adult-only material is excluded because minors participate in selection. Previously submitted films may reapply only if they were not selected; several films may be entered by one filmmaker, but only one may be selected. There is no production-date restriction. Main-section submissions use FilmFest; amateur submissions may also be sent by email. Selected main-section films require DCP; amateur films require an HD H264 file. Entrants must hold the necessary rights and accept the cultural, educational, screening and promotional uses set out in the regulations, including rural screenings for selected amateur films.
