The feature fiction competition also includes the organisers’ J. Burski Award and an audience award decided by festival viewers. The family film category has the Zielone Gronko award. Awards include statuettes; the three main competition categories also carry financial prizes, with amounts set by the organiser. Additional awards may be agreed with the organiser.","The 2026 regulations accept submissions from rights holders or people authorised by them. Entry is free, with no more than two films by the same director. The feature fiction and documentary competitions require films longer than 60 minutes; short fiction must be no longer than 30 minutes. Films in these three competitions must be produced on or after 1 January 2025 and must not involve the organisers, selection committee or jury. The festival focuses on Central and Eastern European cinema and reserves the right not to select films from the Russian Federation in 2026.\n\nSubmission materials include the completed entry form, an online screener, English and Polish dialogue lists with timecodes, at least three stills and a director portrait. Non-Polish screeners require Polish or English subtitles; download-only links are not accepted. Selected films require both DCP and Full HD MP4 screening copies, with Polish or English subtitles for films in other languages. Submission includes agreement to promotional use of supplied materials and festival retrospective screenings.
