All shooting formats are accepted. Films must not exceed 59 minutes; documentaries must not exceed 45 minutes. The FilmFest calls specify production from 2025 for the international, hybrid, film-school, young-audience and music-video selections; the film-school selection requires a school film.

Submission is online and fee-based, through FilmFreeway or FilmFest. Viewing copies require English or French subtitles. Selected films require a clean, unsubtitled high-definition Apple ProRes 422 file in the format declared at submission. The final selection form must be completed, signed and returned on time; selection becomes final only when the festival confirms the availability of a suitable screening copy. The festival may remove a film if circumstances conflict with its guidelines or values.

The 2026 delivery dates are before 29 June for films requiring French subtitling and before 6 July for films already subtitled in French. At least three high-resolution JPEG stills at 300 dpi must be supplied by email. Defective screening copies are not accepted. The festival provides French subtitling for foreign-language films received without subtitles, at its expense, and rights holders authorise this subtitling.

Selected screenings receive no screening fee, apart from any applicable payments to rights-management societies. Liability for damage or loss is limited to the net cost of a replacement copy at the rates in the production country. In the event of a major problem, the festival may cancel without compensation.

Rights holders grant free permission to reproduce stills, synopses, related texts and promotional excerpts across media, including press and the Internet. Excerpts are limited to 10% of the film and no more than three minutes. Producers and signatories must control and clear all relevant rights, including music; the festival is not responsible for third-party rights claims or expenses.

Awarded films may receive up to three additional screenings to promote the Official Selection, through 31 May 2027; rights holders are informed of each screening. The association may retain screening copies. Submitted films are also retained for a resource centre accessible to association members or video-library users, may be transferred to new media for preservation, and may be used for educational and noncommercial activities.

Outdoor films belong to the International Selection and compete for national and international Audience Awards. Official Competition films are drawn from the international and parallel selections and compete for the Grand Prix, Special Jury Prize and Young Jury Prize. Awards belong to the filmmakers and cannot be transferred to third parties. Submission and participation constitute acceptance of the festival regulations.","https://www.association-silhouette.com/",[42,46,50,54,57,61
"Email","info@association-silhouette.com","Association general enquiries and partnerships
"Phone","+33 6 62 99 93 30","Association general enquiries
"Address","Association Silhouette, 8 allée des Mauves, 75020 Paris, France","Administrative offices
"Association Silhouette, 41 rue Mouraud, 75020 Paris, France","Postal address
"Website","https://www.filmfestplatform.com/fr/festival/5342","Film submissions
"https://filmfreeway.com/FestivalSilhouette",1792320451]
