Awards normally recognise students involved in making the work; music, production design and acting are exempt from this student requirement.\n\nPrizes consist of an artwork and a diploma. Additional financial or material prizes may be arranged with partners. The jury may withhold categories, exceptionally share craft awards, or grant additional non-statutory awards.","The competition accepts school audiovisual works created within art or related higher-education programmes at institutions based in Slovakia. The producing institution must confirm the school production and clearance of rights, including music. Films must not have entered an earlier edition. English subtitles are required; works in languages other than Slovak or Czech also require Slovak or Czech subtitles.\n\nFor the 2026 edition, eligible works have production dates from 1 August 2025 to 31 August 2026. An exception covers works made between 1 September 2024 and 31 August 2026 that are selected by major international festivals requiring a world premiere.
