Human Rights Film Festival of Catalonia screens fiction and documentary films on traditional and emerging human rights, global justice and the culture of peace. The festival dates back to 2021 and is the first project of Associació Impacte Cinema i Drets Humans, an independent association that also runs the IMPACTE! Cineclub and a distribution catalogue of human rights films. Barcelona is its main base, with partial editions in other Catalan towns and an online edition on Spanish streaming platforms and the festival website. Each edition is built around a central theme — the fifth centres on the rise of the authoritarian right — and pairs screenings with debates, professional sessions and campaigns such as a public letter against the death penalty in Japan. A specialised jury gives the IMPACTE! Award for Best Film and the Award for Human Value among feature and medium-length films, while the audience chooses the best short film. The 6th edition takes place in Barcelona on 5–11 April 2027, with online and partial editions in other Catalan cities later in 2027.",[],[],{"aboutHtml":24,"countries":25,"focus":27,"categories":28,"nextDates":32,"awardsPrizes":33,"rules":34,"website":35,"contacts":36,"editDate":45},"\u003Cp>IMPACTE!
