The section seeks dialogue between cinematic narrative and the body, with an open understanding of choreography that does not require bodily movement. Its approach draws on coreocinema and the intersection of body and film.

Spanish Short Films: fiction, documentary, animation and experimental films. At least one key creative participant (director, producer, lead dancer or choreographer) must be a Spanish national or resident in Spain. International productions also qualify when more than 50% of their filming locations are in Spain.

FIVERDOCS: international documentary films of any length, including shorts and features. The section focuses on the body as a way to reveal different realities, address social issues and support artistically free cinematic processes.

Stage-performance recordings, promotional videos and music videos are excluded. Selected filmmakers may be asked to supply Spanish subtitles. Selected films may be shown in noncommercial screenings organised by Fiver for promotion and outreach; commercial screenings carry an additional screening fee.

The published 2025 FilmFreeway listing specifies a EUR 10 submission fee for each of the three sections.","https://fiverdance.com/",[43
"Website","https://filmfreeway.com/Fiver","Submissions and festival profile",1792474097]
