The International University Short Film Festival "CINESTESIA FEST" is an international cultural space that dates back to 2017. It is organized by the Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores in Bogotá and Cartagena, Colombia. The festival gives emerging filmmakers and students enrolled in universities worldwide a platform to show their projects, gain professional recognition and reach new audiences. It awards the "Cinestesia" statuette, a recognition of international university talent.
The organizer reports more than 2,000 submissions from about 120 countries for its 2025 edition. The festival takes place each year in the second half of the year, and the dates for the 2026 edition are 12 September to 30 October 2026.
