L’École des Arts Décoratifs (EnsAD)

About

The École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (EnsAD) is a public school of art and design in Paris under the French Ministry of Culture and a member of Université PSL. It was founded in 1766 by the painter Jean-Jacques Bachelier as the École royale gratuite de dessin and has carried its present name since 1925. From its historic site on rue d'Ulm and an annex in Issy-les-Moulineaux, it trains around 800 students in ten fields — art-space, interior architecture, animation cinema, graphic design, object design, textile and material design, fashion design, printed image, photo/video and scenography — at bachelor's, master's and doctoral level.
