La Bande Vidéo
About
La Bande Vidéo is a media arts centre in Quebec City, based in the Méduse co-operative and incorporated in 1977. It supports the creation and presentation of animation and video art, with a gallery devoted to video installation and four studios, and backs analogue technologies and traditional animation techniques such as pin-screen animation, stop motion and rostrum-camera work. Its free online Médiathèque gives access to works produced at the centre over the decades.
