About
The Gesher Multicultural Film Fund (GMFF) is an Israeli non-profit film fund with offices in Jerusalem and at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque. It is the leading supporter of short films in Israel, backing most independent Israeli shorts and the best graduation films of Israeli film schools, and also invests in feature, documentary, drama series and digital projects. Its focus is on content rooted in Jewish-Israeli culture and on films that promote tolerance and dialogue between different groups in Israeli society; it also runs development programmes for emerging filmmakers and regional initiatives in the Negev and Arava.
