About
NTR is an independent Dutch public broadcaster with statutory responsibilities and no membership organisation. Formed through the merger of NPS, Teleac and RVU, it produces programmes centred on information, culture and education for a broad range of audiences. Its output includes journalism, drama, documentaries, children’s programming and knowledge-based television, with programmes such as Het Klokhuis, Andere Tijden, Het Uur van de Wolf and Nieuwsuur. The broadcaster works with cultural and social organisations and pays particular attention to subjects and audiences that might otherwise receive limited coverage.
