About
Hrvatski audiovizualni centar (Croatian Audiovisual Centre, HAVC) is the government-backed strategic agency for the audiovisual sector in Croatia. Founded in 2008 under the Law on Audiovisual Activities, it funds the development, production and promotion of Croatian films and supports cinema activities and film literacy. It is financed by a government grant and by contributions from users of audiovisual works such as broadcasters and telecom operators.
