Cinéforom – Fondation romande pour le cinéma is a Geneva-based foundation that funds film and audiovisual production in French-speaking Switzerland. It was founded in May 2011 by the cantons of Fribourg, Geneva, Jura, Neuchâtel, Valais and Vaud together with the cities of Geneva and Lausanne, and is financed by public grants and lottery funds from the Loterie Romande. It offers selective and automatic support for the writing and production of fiction, documentary and animated films and TV series, support for XR and interactive works, and distribution support for films from the region.
