Luce Cinecittà is the historical name of the Italian public film company Istituto Luce-Cinecittà, now Cinecittà SpA. The company became a joint-stock company on 1 January 2021 and adopted the Cinecittà name in its statute of 23 July 2021. Based in Rome, it operates film studios and post-production services, distributes and promotes Italian cinema, produces documentaries and preserves the Istituto Luce film and photographic archive.
