About
The Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf is a state art and film university with the right to award doctorates in Potsdam.
The Film University is the only art university in Brandenburg and, together with the Studio Babelsberg, is located in the media city of Babelsberg in the independent city of Potsdam. It is the largest film school in Germany and since 2014 the only one in university rank.
Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF is a place where film comes alive, a school representing a wealth of different stories and artistic forms, genres and formats, specialization and exchange. Our unique craft-oriented and interdisciplinary education enables creative people to develop their own filmic language. In research and teaching, we focus on both scientific and artistic approaches and, thus, actively contribute to the development of media, science, and society.
