Filmförderungsanstalt (FFA)
About
The Filmförderungsanstalt (FFA), the German Federal Film Board, is Germany's national film funding agency, based in Berlin. It supports the production, distribution and exhibition of German films and is financed under the Film Funding Act by a levy on cinemas, the video industry and broadcasters. Since a revised Film Funding Act took effect in 2025, it also administers the federal government's jury-based cultural film funding and its production incentives.
